The Fund's investment strategy provides focus and clarity along three vectors: stage, sector and geography. The Fund targets early-stage companies because within the venture capital industry that sector has historically generated the highest investor returns and the Principals believe that it will continue to do so during the term of the Fund. Additionally, early stage investing benefits from the inherent advantage of proprietary deal flow, limited investor competition and the consequent ability to enforce price discipline. The continued proliferation of the Internet, wireless and broadband networks, and the convergence of computing and communications around IP standards will lead business customers to continue to adopt, license and purchase new technology solutions. As thematic investors, the Principals endeavor to identify "best of breed" emerging technologies that enhance productivity, reduce costs and minimize threats for business and Original Equipment Manufacturers ("OEM") customers. Driven by the Fund's sector focus, the Principals have consistently sourced high quality deal flow from geographies where the concentration of such companies is high - namely Silicon Valley and Israel. In the aggregate, the Fund's investment strategy by stage, sector and geography is unique and leverages the Principals' extensive experience and investment expertise.
